You may have noticed I haven't blogged in the past two years. Or maybe you haven't since I only did it twice since reopening my photography business in 2017 and didn't have what you would call a huge following. I think I may have had two of three readers. Ha ha! But, hey, you know. It's a new year, and we all have high hopes and big goals. One of mine is blogging my sessions. I want to make sure my clients can see more than just my highlight reel with the very best photos I post on Instagram and Facebook. These are complete galleries that my clients have chosen, and it gives you a clearer picture of what a full gallery looks like.
These two are repeat clients that I had the opportunity to photograph in the fall. The younger sister was a bit shy at the beginning and it took a few minutes to warm up, but once we got to to talking and they got to cuddling, all was good.
It is so normal to feel awkward when you are first in front of the lens. It takes a while to start acting like you normally would, but since I am a complete dork and an over-sharer, I believe that helps my clients loosen up.
I loved seeing their sweet connection once they both felt beautiful and confident in front of the camera. Siblings are some of my favorite things to photograph. I just love that special bond.
